Approachable Leader

One of the main traits of any effective or strong Leader is, how approachable he is. An approachable Leader with strong strategy and vision is a successful leader. Leader who creates the environment for his team to be approachable irrespective of all the challenges, issues or suggestions will be able to create a very strong cohesive team.

Trust, passion and collaboration will be automatically established when the leader is approachable. Leader should always look at his team as an extended family and be ready to jump in and support any team member based on the need.

Few of the advantages with having a leader approachable are:

  • Team openly trusts and discusses the challenges/achievements
  • Team will be more confident
  • Team will be ready to go extra mile to achieve the best
  • Strong Collaboration will be established which results in team success

If any Leader can inculcate the above-mentioned habits within his team, then sky is the limit for the team to achieve.

Leadership is not an authority, in fact it is the responsibility to empower others to achieve their best. Any Leader can become approachable with the team by gaining the trust of each individual and respect every individual irrespective of the designations.

Sincere advice to all aspiring leaders is to be in touch consistently with your teams and be approachable to the team by empowering and trusting them.

Leadership is not about authority and it is about responsibility and empowering others. Level-Headed Leader is someone who responds to the situation and not the one who reacts to the situation. If you observe, there is difference between responding and reacting. Level-Headed nature lies within these two words difference. Any leader to be a great leader has to be level-headed. Demanding Leaders work towards achieving the organizational goals with aggressive style and seems to be successful also.
